We are currently seeking a Pega Business Analyst for our client in the Insurance domain. Role Description:
The Pega Business Analyst would need to have at least 10+ years of experience. In this role, you will partner with the Digital Product Manager to understand the overall vision and strategy for one or more products within the Agent Experience and Marketing Optimization (AXMO) suite: CRM/Pega/Customer360 Service, Insurance Portal (external agents), Pega/Customer360 Marketing, etc. 
You will help create a vision and target outcome then translate that vision into features and capabilities, working with the scrum team to deliver from inception to launch. Since there is a heavy emphasis on Pega Systems applications within the AXMO team, it is imperative that you understand how to effectively leverage Pega frameworks, specifically Pega CRM, Case Management and Marketing solutions.
- Drives and helps prioritize day-to-day activities/operations required to deliver features/capabilities with the scrum team (e.g. prioritize the backlog, facilitate backlog grooming, run sprint demos and complete business validation).
- Partners closely with the product manager, as well as business and technology stakeholders, typically on a project-by-project basis, to elicit and define requirements and delivery plan
- Where appropriate, partners closely with UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences
- Synthesizes user research, product analytics, and market data to help the product team make well-informed product decisions
- Writes user stories, defines acceptance criteria, and help define and document testing requirements (e.g. regression suites, test cases) for one or more scrum teams
- Ensures the business rules/logic associated with a product are documented and maintained
- Creates and/or maintains reference materials, communication content, product specifications/business rules, business process diagrams and similar artifacts
- Possesses deep technical knowledge of one or more key aspects of assigned application(s) and broad technical knowledge of other aspects, including overall system landscape, interfacing applications and functional capabilities
- Performs complex data extracts and data analysis
- Plans for and performs ad-hoc and structured testing activities as needed to support feature development
- Troubleshoots issues with external vendors and internal technology partners
- Communicates status and details of items to relevant stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years business analysis or similar experience, with at least 5 years in CRM, Case Management and/or Marketing Automation
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Adept systems thinker who is able to elicit and communicate understanding of the variables that impact business unit performance
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communication as well as visualizations
- Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others and move toward consensus
- Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
- Ability to think creatively and to drive innovation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Personal lines insurance business and processes, and expertise in how insurance systems support the high-level business processes
- Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA)
- Pega Certified Marketing and/or Decisioning Consultant (PCMC or PCDC)
- Experience with the Pega Framework version 7.1 or later, ideally including the Pega Customer Service framework, Pega Marketing and/or Pega Decision Management
- Experience automating business processes using Pega Case Management, including case intake, business workflow, robotic process automation, SLA’s, Escalations and reporting
- Experience integrating various input channels with Pega Case Management (Inbound Fax, Email, Online pages, etc.) to initiate cases
- Experience with Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) with IVR and back-end telephony applications including workforce management, screen capture and call recording, behavioral routing, specialized scripting and chat.
- Experience with workflow and data trend analysis
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
