We are currently seeking an Application Security Manager for our client in the Banking and Financial Services domain. Role Description:
The Application Security Manager would need to have at least 5-7 years of experience. In this role, as a Senior Infrastructure Services Engineer, you are responsible for Cybersecurity Service Operation Support. The primary vision of the Enterprise Security Management is to provide a strong and adaptive Cyber Security environment that continuously secures and protects. 

The four primary Services behind Security Area are Compliance Security Baseline, Security Event Management, Host and Networking Monitoring, Vulnerability Data Collection. Most of these services will be sourced internally as a part of Enterprise Infrastructure strategy.

The ISS Engineer can fall into one of three broad categories:

- A Customer-focused Services.

- A technical specialist overlay Security Technologies.

- Hybrid SE-a combination of the two.

Specific Responsibilities:

The Technology Engineer is a customer-focused technical professional with direct technical accountability for Infrastructure Security Technology and understanding of adjacent technologies. Engage customers face-to-face or via collaborative tools and technology such as Skype, Video Calls, etc. Some Engineers may be deployed in a pooled/shared capacity a portion of their time. - Support and manage ISS Security Technologies based on Service Management process (IM/CM/PM/ConfM/Fulfillment).

- Maintain Technology components of the application up and running.

- Maintain the Technology updated based on best practices (Patch Management).

- Heath Check: Weekly Review and Mitigation of the all Errors or Critical Notifications from your technology (e.g. Services up, Memory, Disk Space, Process Running, Connections, etc.)

- Event Management / Monitoring: Responsible of monitor and update all alarms and notifications of him technology daily (SNOW, Email, etc.)

- Proactively identify deficiency in the Security Services.

- Attend a Critical Situation Management for support application.

- Manage and maintain Operation System (Linux, Windows) or Data Base Technologies (Oracles/Sybase/etc.) if applicable.

- Maintain and operate the SLA in Infrastructure Services.

- Align risks and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalate appropriately

Key Accountabilities:

- Technical Service owner of Infrastructure Security Services (Security Technologies)

- Sr Knowledge of Linux Platform (red hat, etc.) and Windows Server Platform.

- Knowledge Security Technologies of the industry (Vulnerability Scan, Access Management, Event Correlation, etc.)

- Management security services reports and matrix results.

- Support Service Operation from Security Services (IM, PM, CM, ITAM) process and procedures.

- Maintains policy and procedures manuals, RACI, and Risk.

- Maintains evidence repositories.

- SLA Technical Levels (Different Classifications P1, P2, P3, P4 related technology)

Qualifications:

- 5-7 years of related experience

- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Specific Skills & Technologies:

- Demonstrable basic experience in Operation, Design, and Implementation Security Tools or similar.

- Strong, demonstrable experience in Security engineering, design, and implementation 

- Demonstrate basic experience with Security Tools (or similar) or Network Technologies (firewall, proxy technologies, etc.)

- Knowledge of security policy and procedures

- Knowledge of Compliance Security Baseline Tools (IBM Products, Qualys, Tripwire, etc.)

- Knowledge of Security Event Management Tools (IBM Products, Splunk, etc.)

- Knowledge of Vulnerability Data Collection (IBM Products, Rapid7, etc.)

- Experience working with internal auditors

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working on Cloud Security initiatives

- Preferred experience managing multiple areas of IT Technology including: Networks, Data Centers, Service Desk, Security and Operations.

- ITIL v3 minimal (Information Technology Infrastructure library) certification, preferred

- Experience with MS Office Suite (include MS Visio) to document all information related technologies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
