We are currently seeking a SQL Server Database Administrator for our client in the Automotive Dealership, Sales and Service domain. Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Role: SQL Server Database Administrator

Primary Skills: MS SQL Server

Role Description: The SQL Server Database Administrator must have at least 4 years of experience. For this role you must be a MS SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA), to be a part of the modernization effort. 

This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other team members and Subject Matter Experts. You should have experience with Microsoft SQL Database Administration. You need to maintain best practices and collaborate with the systems, application team, and the outsourced database support partner. 

In this role, you will be working on continuous service improvements, expected to take active part in Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and System Administration.

Required Qualifications:

- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

- At least 4 years of experience in MS SQL server administration and maintenance

- Must have experience in MS SQL Server 2008 - 2019

- Configuring and troubleshooting Replication

- Perform backups and restores

- Work on indexes, index management, and statistics

- Work on SQL Server tools and performance monitoring

- Experience using SSIS as the ETL tool

- Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours

- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle

- Must be located within commuting distance of Seffner, FL

Preferred Qualifications:

- Implement operational automation using scripts

- Experience with Windows Administration is a Plus

- Planning and Co-ordination skills

- Good Communication and Analytical skills

- Experience and desire to work in a fast-paced delivery environment

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 4 years

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis
