Primary Skills: Quality Assurance

Role Description: As a Testing/QA-QA Analyst Mid, you must have at least 5+ years of experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automated test suites using WebDriverIO or Cypress.

• Leverage TypeScript to write efficient, reliable, and scalable test automation scripts.

• Implement test design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM) to enhance test maintainability.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Analyze complex software systems to identify testing requirements and potential quality issues.

• Design, write, and execute detailed test cases across all functional areas of the application.

• Identify, log, and track defects in JIRA.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the product meets quality standards.

• Keep all test documentation up to date, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

• Contribute to continuous improvement in the testing process by identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge in testing frameworks

• Understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript

• Experience with mobile test automation

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and written communication skills

• Experience in various types of manual testing such as functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Ability to create detailed and functional test cases using Zephyr Scale or similar tools.

• Ability to isolate and document defects as well as participate in or lead root cause analysis.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team and independently on multiple efforts and deliverables.

• Comfortable testing on web, Android, iOS, and headless applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Test automation experience with Appium

• Test automation experience with WebDriverIO

• Test automation experience with Cypress

• Familiarity with React Native

• Understanding of how CI/CD works and experience with Jenkins and similar tools

• Comfortable using Git for version control

• Basic knowledge and being able to navigate cloud-based systems like AWS/Azure

• Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs

• Understanding of SQL & NoSQL DBs and ability to run queries to verify results.

• Certifications like ISTQB

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
